Red Mask: Original Surrealistic Wall Art Poster

This painting began with Slavic traditional masks that always felt mysterious to me. As I worked, it became a search for identity: my origins, who I am now, and the quieter world within me. Through philosophy, spirituality, and the unconscious movement of paint, I realized that the self isn’t fixed. We’re shaped by a collective unconscious, and the borders between “me” and “the world” start to fade.

The red figure represents the flesh. The floating mask is the persona we shed when we look inward. The orb between them is the seed of self-knowledge, the moment something inside finally reveals itself and you can reach for your true identity.
